Totally on fire with all these new programs coming out offering FREE shares and commission free trading. Came across STAKE today and fell in love with the user experience compared to some of the others out there. This is another app that allows you to buy stocks and discuss in the US for consumers in the UK, New Zealand and Australia.
Registration is very easy and by following the referral code link over it auto-populates in the enrollment screen. The app itself is quirkier than all others I've used previously. Its bold and brash and that I enjoy it a whole lot. I clearly have not used it much yet as the capital are still being added but I'll be buying a few shares over the forthcoming weeks and will let you know my initial impressions.
But directly off the bat I like the registration process and the free stock offer which seems more generous compared to a number of the other apps I've downloaded. Though there are just 3 stocks available the probabilities are greater than what I've seen with others. The downsides I have seen so far are that its clearly only US stocks AND that they appear to control a transaction fee of about $9 to deposit and eliminate funds from the accounts. Please keep this in mind when connecting.
